Born and raised in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood, King Lenard was exposed to tragedy , gun violence and what it means to be labeled a statistic. King Lenard took every challenge brought forth from his environment and constructively created timeless lyrics and music that deals with real life issues. He hopes to be a positive influence, mentor and motivator for his community through his musical expression.
