Eclectic and diverse, DJ Monroe is skilled in a wide variety of music genres with 18 years experience under his belt. Beyond mixing, he produces music and remixes, as well as works a live sound engineer.
Set on being an inspiration beyond music, DJ Monroe also does speaking engagements and participates in a variety of shows for youth in the inner city of Chicago and beyond.
Some of his influences include DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kilika Tabron, DJ Promote, DJ Official, Point Ash, DJ Shadow, DJ Shiftee, DJ Rafik, Major Lazer, Diplo, Badboy Bill and more!
DJ Monroe has had the opportunity to be a featured DJ sharing the stage with International Hip Hop artist Kilika Tabron, J’Son, CW Allen, Aasha Marie, Derek Minor, Shai Linne, Gemstones, UK hip hop artist “S.O.”, Christon Gray, Kareem Manuel, Decipha, CTZN and more!
