L. soon became one of the top musicians in the state, earning him a chance to play and receive tutelage from one Wynton Marsalis. Not to mention gracing the stage with the likes of The Wu-tang Clan, Friendly Fires, Twista, & Herbie Hancock. Continuing in his career, T. L. soon picked up the elements of music production and began producing for seminal music figures such as Rhymfest, & Public Announcement. Under his newly formed production company “Storm Chaser Entertainment”, and with the help of his management team “The Wil’Da Group”, T. L. released his latest LP “Life In Your Mid 20’s”. T. Davis took a hands-on approach in helping to mold T. L. into the artist that he his today. Before his passing in 2012 Davis gave T. L. exclusive rights to reproduce 10 of his greatest hits. T. L. plans to release these remakes on a tribute album later on in his career.
