Born Shondell Coleman, the artist known as Luv Docta grew up in Chicago in less than ideal circumstances. The only boy of four children raised by a single mother, Shondell faced many challenges like being homeless and dealing with life in the neighborhoods he was growing up in. Ever since he was young, music has been an integral part of Luv Docta life. From listening to Michael Jackson, Prince, to Jagged Edge, New Edition, to Usher, Chris Brown, Migos, and others, it was by nature that Luv Docta will become something and someone special to the world.
Upon pronouncing his brand late of 2019 and independent label, Mud Life Records LLC – passing out roses, singing to the ladies, and wearing his lab coat became his thing.
