John Wesley – Eyewear Designs

Growing up a lil brown skin girl from the low-end of Chicago, she has always been drawn to fashion.  Since the 3rd grade, our Founder of John Wesley Eyewear Designs, Donice Bibbs have been an avid eyeglass wearer.  She went from being ashamed of wearing eyeglasses, being called a nerd during her school-aged days, to not only gaining confidence wearing them but choosing bold, bright and unique frames to express her budding personality.

Walking into cookie cutter eyewear companies seemed too mundane so she started seeking out small family owned shops.  She quickly learned they had more of an extensive and unique eyewear collection. However, these came at a hefty and almost unaffordable price.

After undergoing lasik eye surgery in 2018, she began to accumulate a pretty massive sunglass collection as she started to pair them with her outfits.  She soon discovered how much she missed her glasses.

And collectively this is how John Wesley Eyewear Designs was birthed.  She wanted to provide our customers with unique, fashionable eyewear at such an affordable price that you would be inclined to buy more than one pair.
