Who would have ever imagined that beating on pots, pans, and buckets would turn into a professional music career for a talented musician one day? Malcolm Adams took interest to music and entertainment at an early age. He remembers being glued to…the television whenever music videos came on but instead of being captivated by the material things in the video, he was actually impressed with the musical aspects of it. It wasn’t until the age of 21 and a little persuasion from his good friend that he decided to pursue his career as a DJ. Using the stage name “DJ Steakz, he quickly stepped on the entertainment scene aggressively and has not looked back since. He is intuitively melodic, seriously syncopated, skillful and fun to watch as he entertains several individuals who enjoy listening to good music.
Dj Steakz lives by the Pericles quote, “What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.” His journey with music is endless because mastery is when you can’t learn anymore but he always has a constant need for learning. He has been on the music scene for a short time but fans can expect nothing less than good quality music and entertainment from him. Although it is a honor for him to play amongst other talented musicians, he also uses it to his advantage and becomes more inspired to shine. the Mixtape King as his driving force to accomplish the goals he set for himself when first developing his music career. When he leaves this earth, he would like to leave a legacy of professionalism and integrity, a true beacon of light for those who come after him. His dedication to his craft has made him a key player to the Gary music industry!!!
