The Introduction to D.J. Heavy D a.k.a. ” D.J. HD” Heavy as his friends call him was born in Muskegon,Mi in the early 70’s and was raised by his single mom in Mansfield,Oh. With 1 younger brother his mother always pushed him to develope his love for music,singing,playing,song writing the sky has always been the limits. It wasn’t until the age of 13 he found his place in the music arena….D-Jayin a middle school dance!! From there the dream and journey began.
Growing up his love stayed based on the music he grow up listening to the Ohio Players,Isley Brothers,O’Jay’s,Curtis Mayfield,ect. just to name a few. With old school music in his soul,hip-hop in his heart he is a force to be wreckin with. Well traveled he’s done it all, Concerts,Clubs,Weddings,Graduations,College Ice-breakers,there is no limit to the experience he possesses. Making his presents felt in place’s like Muskegon,Grand Rapids,Flint,Saginaw,Lansing,MI. Chicago,IL,Fort Wayne,Ind,Charlotte,NC,Sandusky,Oh, Memphis,TENN and most recently the take over of Mansfield,Oh.
He’s also shared the stage with some pretty big names,Waka Flocka Flame,Yung LA,Freeway,Young Jeezy,U.S.D.A.,Gorilla Zoe,JR Writer (Dipset),BoneCrusher,ToneTone,Cupid,SouljaBoy,Gucci Mane,Yo’ Gotti. Hard work it paying off but there is still a long road ahead.He’s on the grind 24/7 He’s an X-Squad DJ,TJ’s DJ,Team Michigan DJ,DJ’s R Us DJ, Blok Club DJ,and the V.P. of the O State DJ’s.With his focus set on being one of the greatest on the 1’s and 2’s.
His goal is ever closer “My mission is to unity the world through music,by breaking new artist.To let everybody know that real music is back.” So when you ask your self could my party,club,show,or concert be any better. He is your answer in HD!!! CHECKMATE!!!!!!
