Dj El started off in music at an early age. He has always been around instruments as well as recording equipment. His inspiration came late in his life to DJ. In high school at a party in the school there was a Dj there by the name of DJ P and he was intrigued on how he knew just what to play to keep the crowd moving. From that day forward he set his quest out to learn the skills and do the same.
Being a music lover he already had tons of cds so next he got a 2 channel mixer and 2 Sony Discman players and went from. Though very primitive in his early stages he was known then by the stage name DJ Spank-E. Also being musically inclined he also flourished in playing the drums as well as the keyboard. He later went into background singing as another outlet for music which took him across the U.S..His fame was only local but he knew he could do this. He took a brief hiatus to finish school and deal with life.
In 2010 he felt that urge to rock the crowd again but this time the route would be different. He started off with Karaoke and it just blossomed from there. He later purchased equipment with his earnings and went from there. He has rocked many popular venues in Chicago such as: Bar Louie (Downtown Chicago), Mr. G’s (Chicago) and has also appeared on radio on UIC on the Da Whatcha Like Radio Show as their guest DJ. He is currently still rocking all events from the local lounge to Family Reunions. Look out because when this train takes off its going to be one hell of a ride.
