Entering his adult ages breaking all stereotypes and overcoming unbelievable obstacles with incredible charisma, he was dubbed The “Chosen” One. The self proclaimed true lover of music, Mike “DJ Chosen” was destined to enter the music industry. Born to Connie and Super Producer Doc Little (Destiny’s Child, Christina Aguilera, Mya, Diddy, Adina Howard, etc.) Chosen was put in piano lessons at the early age of 7. With the pressure of living up to the expectation of “Doc’s Son” he quit by the age of 12. The love of music would later call him back.
Growing up watching his cousin and renown drummer, Rex Hardy (R. Kelly,
Avant, Ginuwine, Mary J. Blige, etc.), practice and go from back up drummer for church to Mary J. Blige’s first chair drummer Chosen developed amazing rhythm and drum patterns. This would prove to be a great asset for his next step in life, Producer.
At 17 he would link up with another cousin and music great, Super Producer Blaze Crawford (B5, Dietrick Haddon, Day26, etc.). Although his musical experience was greater, he would quickly humble himself to watch and learn from the creative genius. By 25 Chosen would pick up another trade to add to his repertoire, the DJ. Constantly in “school” Chosen would work to improve his skills and become one of the greats in music and looks to become a household name.
